Chibi Development - Stage 1 [Define]

Having the base model made making each chibi a lot easier. I found that I could create a character within a 6 hour time period - Excluding Unwrapping, texturing and Rigging.

The Process
It was a simple process I used for creating each model, it was easier in theory to work from the mesh I had already made. Basically, it consisted of extruding polygons from the base mesh and editing them to create the shapes for the clothing, and the hair.

I picked up some more reference images for this part, mainly regarding the clothing and how it could be structured in lower polygon states.

Stage 1 - Complete.
Below you can see Sodapoppin, Nightblue3 and Shilin in an unwrapped, solid colour state. Sticking to as little poly's as possible. I'm happy with how thes 3 turned out and it has made me more confident in my abilities.

Stage 2 - Texturing
Stage 3 - Rigging
Stage 4 - Animation + Set up
